In 2021, CCA and Takis collaborated on an impromptu event, the Takis Alumni Tango. Eight collegiate Rocket League alumni were brought in as captains who participated in a live draft to build their teams from a crop of current collegiate players. This event was the foundation for subsequent CCA Captain's Draft events and how to present them.
